Hello all!
« on: November 30, 2007, 13:09:47 »
Welcome to Kalassa.net forum, where you can meet other fishermen from
all over the world. Our speciality is an official forum of Propilkki 2,
but we also have lots of professionals from many subclasses of fishing
in our forum. If you have anything to ask about fishing in Finland,
this is the place to do it!

Not exactly walleye, but we have their close relatives, pikeperch.

Walleye – Stizostedion vitreum

Pikeperch - Stizostedion lucioperca

I believe that those taste and fight exactly like same

Yes, there are much of lakes whit walleye in them. Good lures for these deepwater fisher are 5-10cm fishimitation lures. (Dont know they real name :?) My walleye record (pikeperch) are 1,2kg and it fights better than same sized pike.

well, it comes like nothing were there, but when it comes next to the boat, it makes "the final attack" and goes to the bottom a couple of times. it's just it's strategy.
