Janne was creating new menus and said "hell of a job". Dunno exactly, what he still needs to create, but we'll see.. I think there is small delay in the release, but IF I HAVE some time after Finnish Championships, I try to create one more new lake (and also got my computer working with editors.. new one coming with vista 64bit and I dont know are these editors compatible at all). So, more lakes to compensate the waiting? Not so bad deal?

Just realized why "Mikko Happo" kicks my arse every time I play on diffifcult.... and Janne too. Had no idea you guys programmed yourselves in.... now that's funny!

Any chance of you guys ever releasing a lake editor/customizer into the public domain?

Anyways, your product absolutely rocks! Nothing like it on the market and believe me, I'll be busy in the off season!

So, Mikko.... what's you're favourite lure??

Lake editors will not be published. It will ruin interest of the game.. Thats why it is better to keep it in private use only.

Lure.. uhh... In game I use that "red pystypilkki" or "kultasiipi" usually, but sometimes... hmm.. quite many possibilities.

Mikko, please do not make this game dependingl on Vista... Better of Linux:)

Yes it would be terrible if I needed ms vista to run Propilkki 2 before I can run it on linux!

But if it will run on linux, then I don't really care anymore!

I have heard, that if using Wine, this pp2 version works fine in linux. Have you tried it?

wine alone doesn't solve the problem - running it just under wine the result is 1 frame per second. Still need to get directX running as well, but that's more of a problem in linux. Because linux doesn't support directx out of the box. If Propilkki 2 had OpenGL support then there wouldn't be any problems running it. And then there is still the port forwarding - threre are some progs on linux to handle that (as wine simulates windows environment, a program is needed to bridge the ports form wine to linux and to the net) , but don't know how well it works, as I haven't managed to get directX working properly..

Team Procyon started now the "last beta-tests" of 0.7 version. Beta-team will be activated also soon. After this short and effective period the game is ready for releasing. Estimated time schedule (without serious problems) is about 1-2 weeks.,

Version 0.7 is now ready. It needs to get mirrored for several hosts now. Thereafter, our homepage needs to be updated and then the game is officially released!

The most probable release date is thursday, but if we have luck, then it is available at wednesday-thursday night.

...but our admin says he is not, and "worst timing ever, too busy to do anything". So what we can do is wait, wait, wait, wait.

He said that "it might be impossible to update your page today, and even tomorrow is not clear".

You just can guess my feelings now! I am not very happy here to say, that this will take some more time.

Hi, Mikko! Could You be so kind and answer to one question which, I guess, is interesting not only for me. How big (or average) fish is possible to catch by old one rod and how big (or average) fish is possible to catch by new one rod? I understand that even small pike can snap the line, but how about other fish?

When you hit the bottom with your drill, it will become blunt one. The creating of a new hole will take more time. E.g. after 5 bottom hits it takes 30 seconds to drill a new one.

We have only one bug to hunt for now.. There are few reports about record-reseting during installation of the latest version. We do not know when/how/why this occurs. We are trying to resolve it as soon as possible and then the version is ready to be released.

That's great news! If you can't find the bugs, maybe you can just advice to backup the static folder before the installation of the new version!
