Sopore Massacre

Since the federal investigator does not hold the paramilitary liable for anything, it doesn't advocate any punishment to anybody. By June 2014, Kanjwal and plenty of other survivors of the bloodbath challenged the outcome of the CBI investigations by submitting a protest petition before the designated court. The case is going on and it was during the series of hearings that the CBI submitted details of its findings.

Even the survivors of the Sopore massacre had contested the closure of the case, and the CBI was requested by the TADA court in Srinagar to provide the complete investigation report on 20 January 2014. “We hope to get a duplicate of the court’s reasoning for dismissing our protest petition after their trip. We weren't happy with their 2013 judgement that relied on the BSF personnel’s court-martial as the final punishment for their offences. The main accused in the case haven't yet been tried and so they haven't yet been even thought of for trial.

Kashmiris are determined to fulfill the mission of their martyrs at any cost. Indian soldiers have committed 30 massacres, killing over 600 folks in IIOJK and thru these massacres, New Delhi is definitely planning to suppress the impending mass rebellion in IIOJK. The world group Kashmir Sopore Massacre 1993 should come forward to cease the genocide of Kashmiris in the occupied territory.

The Chairman appealed to the top of the UNHRC and other organizations similar to Amnesty International and Asian Watch to take effective steps to punish their crimes within the IIOJK to revive folks's faith in human rights and the worldwide justice system. After each martyrdom, the dedication of Kashmiris to get freedom from India is even stronger and the blood of the martyrs is not going to go in waste. The Sopore massacre refers back to the alleged killing of at least forty three civilians by the Indian Border Security Force who have been travelling on a bus from Bandipur to Sopore in Kashmir on 6 January 1993. It has been mentioned that more than 350 shops, few homes, Samad talkies and Islamia College together with the hundred thousand books had been burnt to ashes by these bloodthirsty males in uniform.

On 20 January 2014, The survivors of the Sopore massacre contested the closure of the case, after which the Central bureau of Investigation CBI was requested by the TADA courtroom, Srinagar, to produce the entire investigation record. The case was handed over to the CBI, who sought a closure on the investigations in December 2013. In order to refute the State’s lies and makes an attempt to cover up the Sopore bloodbath of 1993, the survivors sought to problem the CBI in the court. The Sopore massacre survivors had opposed the case’s closure, and on January 20, 2014, the TADA courtroom in Srinagar was ordered by the CBI to supply over the entirety of the investigation’s file.
