The new version of Pro Pilkki 2 for PC is now available in the Windows Store, along with the corresponding Linux host via the apt-package manager. Let the biggest fish competition begin for the new lakes Ruippo and Rönttäoja!
PC players can also participate in the weekly flag rod competitions, even though the game mode is primarily designed for mobile play.
Other updates focus on hosting and spectator mode. Spectator mode has following improvements: each team is displayed with a different color on the map, a small map can be set to be permanenetly visible in the bottom corner and the selection of the player to follow has been improved.
To tackle with bad behavior in online play, two new settings (commands) have been added to help hosts and admins:
/access – Allows only players with a record account to join the game.
/holearea – Adjusts the size of the reserved area around the ice hole.
For Linux host, there are some changes to the supported operating system versions. Check the updated installation guide for details:
